A single. small room bar with a stone floor and largely blank walls. A shelf at one end has dangly flowers and an impressive collection of GBGs many predating the bar and its predecessors. Limited furniture of a couple of tall tables and a corner seat. The counter is at the back and houses six pulls, constantly changing but today from Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout, Coniston Bluebird, Jaipur, a beer from North Pier and one from Beartown. There’s a bit of space outside partly under cover which useful as this is very much a micro pub. Single unisex lav’ in the corner.

Name change but otherwise seems the same as previous reviews with strong cask selection. I had the same experience as Quinno so I really didn’t fancy sticking around. groups of well oiled lager lads in the beer garden and next to no space inside so I moved along. It may just be too close to the centre of Hebden Bridge and thus attracts the worst of the crowds.

Down a small alley and oddly doesn't live up to its name at all. It's a very small basic room that's essentially a tiny micro; seating for little more than 10 people. Flagstone floor and plain decor. Wood plank servery with six cask, my Northern Whisper Oppenchops was a decent drop (NBSS 3.5) though the glass wasn't exactly a gleaming example of hygiene. The general lack of ambience wasn't enhanced by the presence of a bunch of fat oiled lads outside and the barmaids sharing gossip – very much a feel of nobody being in charge. Was looking forward to exiting the moment I sat down, which is a shame. Maybe it’s better in the evening once the day-trippers have shoved-off? 5.5
